Carrier Command: Gaea Mission P&C Beta v2 now available

Prague, Czech Republic, Friday 4 May 2012 - Good news for all beta-commanders: Bohemia Interactive has released Version 2 of the Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Play & Contribute Beta. The update should fix a lot of the issues reported by P&C participants in the last couple of weeks (changelog).

To update the game, players need to download the latest beta installer and reinstall the P&C Beta on their computer. Note that previous save games are not compatible with this version.

In order to spread the traffic on our servers, P&C Club members were already notified on Thursday. All other P&C participants will receive an e-mail later today.

The Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Play & Contribute Beta The beta offers a compressed version of the Strategic Campaign, which invites people to take place behind the battle computer on board of an immense vehicle carrier. The goal is to conquer the breathtaking archipelago on planetoid Taurus (up to 9 islands in the P&C Beta - 30+ in the full game) and ultimately to destroy the adversary’s carrier. Overall, the gameplay experience in the Strategic Campaign is very similar to the main, story-driven, Gaea Mission campaign, which will be present in the full and final game. However, it does not include the first-person shooter missions, cinematic cutscenes and tutorials.

People can join the Play & Contribute Beta via Bohemia Interactive’s digital store, Store.bistudio.com. Here you have the option to seize the discounted Carrier Command: Gaea Mission P&C (19.99 EUR) or the premium Carrier Command: Gaea Mission P&C Supporter (39.99 EUR) deal. Both offers are available for a limited time.
