Are you an experienced Animator ready to lead the work on animations in Brno, the capital of game development in central Europe? Then we want you! The job is mainly about animating and cooperation with programmers and designers to develop pipelines and technical solutions for realistic in-game character animations. Part of the job is also mentoring and managing an internal team of animators, cooperation with external animators and cooperating with our own Motion Capture facility. The goal of the animation team is to create realistic first person animations and authentic third person animations. We are looking for a highly experienced, versatile and self-directed team player with knowledge of Unreal Engine or similar development toolsets.

Requirements

  • Passionate about creating realistic and ground breaking animation
  • Experience in doing core gameplay animations in FPV/3PV game
  • A very good understanding of animation principles
  • Proficiency with a major animation package, preferably Motion Builder and Maya
  • Experience in cooperating with programmers
  • Ability to self-manage and make responsible decisions about time and project priorities
  • Ability to lead and mentor animators; be able to listen and to give feedback

Welcomed Skills

  • Experience with UE4 pipeline
  • Passionate gamer
  • Motion Capture editing/clean up experience
  • Scripting experience or other programming skills
  • Knowledge of Skinning/Rigging
